Rose for Anni 2012

She found this rose among the bushes of the internet. The coup d'e'tat which ousted  the first democratically elected president on 7th Feb. put much of us in distress. The courage of our president and the supporters' struggle for freedom and democracy keep us going, with these colors flying high.

a basking sting ray in shallow waters can stop you in your tracks! awesome fish that strikes only when  disturbed or threatened. trying to get back the colors i have stopped playing with for a while. hope you dig!

Beckoning Fury 04

Parked inside Fiori Harbour, we really could not judge the exact hight of the waves. Nor can we judge it looking at the swell. The waves come from very deep and jacks up to the shallow reef. Good surfers can take off from way back and stand through a perfect barrel.

Back in 1984 I was working in Dhiggiri Tourist Resort. Two Painters from Italy came to paint the guest rooms. On request I was allowed to paint one senior staff room where I was staying then.
